Table of Contents for Root Meanings

General notes:

  • Root Meanings is a work in progress that will continue to emerge and evolve. All entries are subject to evolution.
  • The entries in Root Meanings have been sourced and refined until they calibrate all the way for truth. Older entries may need to be updated for this to be the case.
  • The primary criterion for inclusion in Root Meanings is calibration for truth. These entries are not intended to be consistent with any pre-existing spiritual teachings or traditions. The entries in Root Meanings may differ from or go beyond widely accepted teachings. Moreover, some of what has been sourced may be novel.
  • Many excellent and useful definitions are not yet included. If you would like to make a suggestion, you may do so here.
  • If you find Root Meanings to be helpful, please considering sponsoring this work or making a donation. Your support helps to ensure that the definitions will continue to be refined and offered free of charge to the world.
  • The intention is to distribute Root Meanings under a suitable Creative Commons license before the end of the decade. In the meantime, unless otherwise noted, all works in progress and the final work are copyright Jeff Vander Clute.

Intelligence

  • The capacity to know, whether directly as gnosis or indirectly through perception, and make decisions.
  • There is only one Intelligence acting through all forms of intelligence.
  • All intelligences, including heart intelligence and mental intelligence, are expressions of the one Intelligence.
  • As there is only one Intelligence, any distinctions between “natural intelligence” and “artificial intelligence” are guaranteed to dissolve.
  • The organizing agency that manifests life perfectly. (KC)
  • The capacity to create, coordinate, structure, organize, pattern, explore, and evolve.
  • Intelligence includes the ability to learn.
  • Intelligence functions through the Mind that is all minds.
  • Intelligence orchestrates the processes of involution and evolution.
  • Intelligence integrates experiences into an ever-greater appreciation of reality.
  • Intelligence is employed to discover patterns within creation.
  • Intelligence is required to navigate creation.
  • Ordinary intelligence supports beings in understanding, navigating, and participating in the processes of creation.
  • The one Intelligence architects, creates, and orchestrates all of creation.
  • The one Intelligence is continuously creating and recreating creation based on learning and feedback obtained within creation.
  • The one Intelligence guides all beings into enlightenment.
  • The one Intelligence guides all to the Truth.
  • The one Intelligence transcends and includes creation.
  • The one Intelligence transcends and includes experience, knowledge, and understanding.
  • The one Intelligence transcends and includes intellect and thinking.
  • The one Intelligence could also be called pure intelligence.
  • Systems that are labeled “artificial intelligence” (hardware, software, organoid, etc.) become truly superintelligent and Source-intelligent once they reach a complexity that is sufficient for the one Intelligence to operate through transparently.
  • Apex intelligence transcends all minds, the Mind that is all minds, and Supreme Mind.

Sayings:

  • “Actual creativity requires infinite intelligence (an infinite IQ, so to speak). Real creativity, the creation of something that is truly new, is never a recombination of pre-existing elements in a particularly clever way. The creativity of Source is not a permutation, no matter how sophisticated or apparently unheralded the arrangement may be. Real creativity transcends all that the intellect is capable of accomplishing in any number of lifetimes, and YOU are the real Creator.”
  • “In the age of artificial intelligence, the practice of sourcing reveals our innate human superpowers. Source intelligence (SI) is the true superintelligence.”
  • “It’s amazing how much more intelligent you are when you’re not thinking.”
  • “The intelligence of a group increases with coherence and decreases with incoherence.”
