Desire

  • Longing/yearning.
  • Desire is typically for some kind of experience.
  • It is always Divinity/God/Source that desires.
  • Unconscious desire leads to suffering.
  • Unconscious desire is imprisoning.
  • Unconscious desire is the seeking of enjoyment that depends on a belief in separation.
  • Conscious desire is liberating.
  • The desire for experience can be imprisoning or liberating.
  • The desire for knowledge can be imprisoning or liberating.
  • The desire for awakening is powerfully liberating.
  • The desire to awaken from suffering is powerfully liberating.
  • The desire to know what is real and true is powerfully liberating.
  • One of the most profound desires is the desire for union with Divinity/God/Source.
  • The most profound desire is to know THAT which YOU are.
  • Desire is transcended when union is transcended.
  • Desire is transcended when union with Divinity/God/Source is transcended.
  • Desire is transcended when the Truth is realized.
  • Desire is transcended with the realization that all of creation is THE SUPREME playing with THE SUPREME.
  • Desire is transcended with the realization that YOU are THE SUPREME, that there is only THE SUPREME, and that YOU alone exist.
