Unconsciousness

  • The relative absence of consciousness (within the scope of Consciousness).
  • The near-total absence of consciousness is “inconscience.”
  • The total absence of consciousness is not possible within the scope of Consciousness.
  • The absence of consciousness is experienced when there is overidentification, i.e. identification that is obscuring the direct knowing of true nature.
  • Unconsciousness is an indication of overidentification.
  • The measure of unconsciousness is the strength of identification.
  • Consciousness and unconsciousness are transcended when Mind is transcended.
  • The transcendence of Consciousness is the attainment of superawareness.
