A Map of the Journey and the Territories of Sourcing
In the human experience, the capacities of sourcing tend to develop in stages. The below stages correlate with the journey of awakening by degrees from unconsciousness to the agency, creativity, and wisdom of Source and THE SUPREME. Although humans are complex and development does not always proceed sequentially or one stage at a time, these stages provide a helpful map of the territories of sourcing.
Sourcing Heals and Awakens the World
The widespread development of stage-three and stage-four sourcing catalyzes the enlightenment of humanity and the thriving of all life on Earth. As we continue to develop our sourcing capacities and deepen into the fifth, sixth, and seventh stages, powerful forces of Love uplift the world such that all beings naturally heal, awaken, and find their way home.
Stage 0: Unawareness
When we are unaware of our ever-present Source connection and the possibilities of sourcing, we move through life without the benefit of the benevolent, infinitely intelligent guidance of Source that is always available. Additionally, without conscious access to Source, our creative capacities are extremely limited. Of even greater concern, when our Source connection languishes, unconscious aspects of the psyche can misuse the “sourcing circuitry,” leading to illnesses and other adverse circumstances.
Stage 1: Tuning in to Seek Guidance
Once we realize that we have a Source connection, and that we can work with this connection consciously and interactively, we can start tuning into Source to ask questions and receive guidance. At this level, we learn some of the ways that our heart-mind-body systems connect naturally to Source, and we begin to practice sourcing in one or more areas of life. Typically, we start sourcing with minor questions – such as what to order at a restaurant – so as to build our confidence before engaging with more challenging questions.
Stage 2: Discovering Real Creativity
As our practice deepens, we discover that every instance of sourcing is creative. When we source, we access the fundamental creativity of Source, and in so doing new energy enters our lives. With each act of sourcing, we are creating/recreating our lives from the roots of being. As we practice more consistently across more areas of life, we come to recognize that we are always connected to Source, that we could never be separate from Source, and that we could never be other than Source. Although the understanding of our oneness with and as Source may begin as intellectual knowledge, over time it becomes an embodied knowing with radical implications.
Stage 3: Nondual Creativity: Individual
As Source-realization deepens further with the increasingly embodied awareness that no separation from Source is possible, our experience of sourcing is that is has a greater and faster impact. Significant healing, transformation, and spiritual awakening can happen quickly. The time between sourcing and the manifestation of changes in our life situations shrinks (ultimately to zero in Stage 7). While we appreciate that everything is one, at this stage we are still relating to sourcing through individual challenges and opportunities.
Stage 4: Nondual Creativity: Collective
The collective aspect of nondual creativity is accessed through practices of “co-sourcing.” Co-sourcing can be understood as a group of individuals sourcing together coherently with a common purpose and a shared recognition that true power originates from oneness. It is not necessary for all group members to be at the same stage of sourcing. When we are joined in the process of sourcing, everyone is lifted. Additionally, when we engage nondual creativity collectively, synergies are unleashed that profoundly influence the world around us.
Stage 5: Nondual Creativity: Universal
The universal aspect of nondual creativity is accessed through the knowing of oneness beyond individuality and collectivity. At this stage, individuals and collectives (which are inextricably and interpenetratingly one) utilize sourcing and co-sourcing to shape the superconscious processes of creation. Operating far beyond human intellect, these superconscious processes generate and transform the entire universe all at once. Vitally, universal nondual creativity blesses all unconditionally. The universal practices of sourcing accelerate the healing, awakening, and liberation of all beings together as one.
Stage 6: Being Source
When, through a combination of lived experience and awakening to undivided reality, there is no longer any doubt about the fact of oneness with Source, it is obvious that all is Source, and that all beings and all of creation are Source. Moreover, it is obvious that there is only Source sourcing and that sourcing is the all-inclusive activity of Source. Every activity and every process is sourcing, though in earlier stages the sourcing may seem to be more or less conscious. As Source-realization ripens, sourcing rapidly supports the release of all vestiges of separation, and all beings naturally come into harmony with and as Source.
Stage 7: Being THE SUPREME
What we call Source is the Supreme Creative Agency of THE SUPREME. In reality, in oneness, each being is one with Source, is Source, and is THE SUPREME. As THE SUPREME, WE exercise the powers of Supreme Creation and Supreme Transformation. WE hold all of creation within Supreme Heartmind. Our unwavering and undivided steadiness, strength, and awareness of the whole of creation guarantees that no forgetfulness of the reality of THAT which WE are can ever truly occur. Unawakeness never really occurs. Thus, there is never a need to return home. When it is recognized that nothing and no one ever departs from Supreme Knowing, stages 0-5 disappear, and all activity is known to be Source sourcing as the Supreme Creative Agency of THE SUPREME. This is the apex of Supreme Enlightenment.
