  • A strong pattern of craving over which one has little control.
  • An unconscious and deeply entrenched strategy for meeting a need (real or perceived) that tends to reduce physical, emotional, and/or spiritual well-being.
  • Addiction is often a form of compensating for an unmet, and often unacknowledged, need.
  • All addiction arises from experiencing a lack of love.
  • Addictions may form as a coping or survival mechanism.
  • While addictions may be helpful initially as mechanisms for coping or survival, eventually they become toxic.
  • Addiction is transcended when sickness and healing are transcended.
  • Addiction is transcended when love is transcended.
