  • The entries in Root Meanings have been sourced and refined until they calibrate all the way for truth. Older entries may need to be updated for this to be the case.

The entries in Root Meanings may differ from or go beyond widely accepted teachings. Moreover, some of what has been sourced may be novel.

Post-suffering

  • An adjective that refers to the phase of spiritual development that is no longer characterized by suffering.
  • Beyond suffering and the antidote to suffering.
  • Beyond the paradigm in which life is defined however tightly or loosely in relation to suffering.
  • One is post-suffering when their life and work are no longer defined in any way by suffering.
  • One is post-suffering when they no longer require suffering as a means and a path of learning and awakening.
  • When one is post-suffering, the world reflects post-suffering consciousness.
  • Healers and spiritual teachers may find it difficult to embody post-suffering consciousness since any activity that depends on the existence of suffering (e.g., alleviating suffering) remains within the paradigm of suffering.
  • For one whose right livelihood is healing or spiritual teaching, an effective path is to transcend suffering, the cause of suffering, the possibility of suffering, and all memories of suffering while responding to the appearances of suffering with deeply aligned, sourced right action.
