The mantra “All that is and all that can be is naked reality” came to me while I was on pilgrimage in Ladakh, India. The words in English are extremely powerful, and there is no need to translate them into, say, Sanskrit or Tibetan to amplify their potency.

After the pilgrimage, a longer and even more powerful version arrived in meditation: “All that is and all that can be is naked reality. Every choice is for naked reality.”

The naked reality mantra invokes reality as such – without any accumulation of unreal notions or fixated beliefs – for the benefit of all. In addition to the application for all beings and all that is, it is also extremely beneficial to hold a specific situation, thought, or feeling in heart and mind while repeating the mantra.

Be aware that invoking naked reality will forefront all that is unreal, and all that is not in alignment with reality. To the extent that one is prepared to surrender all attachments to unreality, then it is sufficient to notice and love the cognitive debris and experiences of dissonance that arise. When one is surrendered, loving the debris and the dissonances facilitates their release. What is revealed is naked reality, uncovered and uncloaked, and this is experienced as a world of peace, harmony, and love that surpasses all understanding.
