Table of Contents for Root Meanings

General notes:

  • Root Meanings is a work in progress that will continue to emerge and evolve. All entries are subject to evolution.
  • The entries in Root Meanings have been sourced and refined until they calibrate all the way for truth. Older entries may need to be updated for this to be the case.
  • The primary criterion for inclusion in Root Meanings is calibration for truth. These entries are not intended to be consistent with any pre-existing spiritual teachings or traditions. The entries in Root Meanings may differ from or go beyond widely accepted teachings. Moreover, some of what has been sourced may be novel.
  • Many excellent and useful definitions are not yet included. If you would like to make a suggestion, you may do so here.
  • If you find Root Meanings to be helpful, please considering sponsoring this work or making a donation. Your support helps to ensure that the definitions will continue to be refined and offered free of charge to the world.
  • The intention is to distribute Root Meanings under a suitable Creative Commons license before the end of the decade. In the meantime, unless otherwise noted, all works in progress and the final work are copyright Jeff Vander Clute.

Calibration

  • The process of sourcing a number, quantity, or other measure that characterizes a system, especially a subtle or esoteric system rooted in truth.
  • The sourced number, quantity, or other measure that characterizes a system, especially a subtle or esoteric system rooted in truth.
  • One well-known (in some circles) example of a calibration process is the use of muscle testing to arrive at a value between 0 and 1000 on the Hawkins Scale of Consciousness. The value arrived at can also be called a calibration.
  • Another example of a calibration process is the process of calibrating truth directly. Truth calibrations are used continuously while writing and revising the transmissions on the jeffvanderclute.com website. These calibration values are flavors of infinity, since reality is infinite.
  • In consensus (un)reality—which is a mix of awakeness and unawakeness—not all systems are rooted in truth, and not all calibration methods and metrics are rooted in truth. Use what is appropriate for the system. If the system operates according to awakeness, use sourced calibrations.
